WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As a Junior Account Executive at MatchFit, you’ll play a vital supporting role within the team, helping to deliver standout PR campaigns for some of the most exciting brands in sport. You’ll be a proactive team player — eager to learn, get involved, and develop your skills in media relations, influencer marketing, client servicing and campaign delivery.
This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for sport, storytelling and communications who’s ready to start their career in PR.
WHO WE ARE:
We are MatchFit, the communications agency with sport in its DNA. Since our launch in 2020, we’ve worked with some of the most exciting rights holders and brands in sport, including The FA, The LTA, Manchester City, Topps, MatchWornShirt, LiveScore and LALIGA. Our core services are centred around PR and campaigns, reputation and corporate comms, influencer and content, and sponsorship activation.
Recently moving into our new head office in Shoreditch, London, 2025 has signalled the start of an exciting new era for the agency. With a permanent team headcount now at 18 after an amazing year of 75% growth, we are incredibly proud of our highly talented team and our recent “Great Place to Work® certification for 2025."
TO BE MATCHFIT FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:
● Have at least 6 months of PR agency (or equivalent) experience (sport sector NOT essential)
● Love creating and pitching stories to media
● Relish building relationships with journalists and content creators
● Be thorough in media monitoring and listening
● Be familiar with an array of influencers in the sport and culture space
● Be curious and creativeLove working with a team
● Have experience of working on a day-to-day client accounts
● Be able to manage upwards
● Be brilliant at admin tasks
● Be based near, or in, London
● Have a passion for sport
OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:
● 3 days a week in the Shoreditch office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
● Additional days optional 2days a week at home (Monday, Friday)
● Working hours: 9am – 5:30pm
Salary Guide: £26,000 Highly competitive package including pension, Juno points, holiday and bonus scheme.
